does anyone know how the magnaflow 14829 sounds un resonated i have the muffler with the resonator its got a nice deep clean sound to it i want it a little louder i dont want to lose tq i dont really car about the hp i like the way the car is right now sound i get headers for a louder deeper sound or take out the resonator? I dont want to hear any raspyness if i did i woulda bought a Honda lol.

 

From what I understand, as long as you stick with the stock piping size you should be fine and won't lose much if any low end tq.

As for sound, the car resonated with just the aftermarket muffler doesn't sound raspy, usually you'll get a bit of it once you removed the stock muffler, so I imagine if you take out the resonator, you'll simply get the same deep sound, just amplified, I may be wrong, but that's what I can assume, someone else might be able to clue you in

 

CORRECT! had my stock muffler sitting in the garage and decided to measure the piping and found it to me 2 inches.. THANKS
