piggy back ecu

hey i have a quick question. I want to disconnect my rrm piggy back ecu. Can i just cut the 5 wires in the middle of the main line and tap off the wires.. or do i have to unsoder them all from the main ecu?

the wire that you had to cut in half for the install (maf sensor i think) has to be put back together but other than that you can cut the rest in the middle and leave them tee'd in just insulate them at the ends so you aint got no arc flashes during them dyno pulls haha

thanks that is good to know. I recently got a CEL "lean bank" i think it was like P0171. So i was going to take the piggy back out. I think i will just disconnect the battery and reteach the piggy back.

I doubt the piggy would make it run lean. I had the code just from my intake. Rob used the piggy to increase fuel by 2% and never had the code again.
