oh yeah, forgot to ask, since you don't have a manual i'm assuming you don't know the head bolt removal sequence, it is very important to avoid damage to the head, i.e. warping, i hope you used some kind of cross pattern during removal...why is the head coming off anyways?

I understand its winter and the gears wont shift as smoothly but we had good weather for a while like 8 above and I took my car for a long drive and the 3rd gear would still grind even at lower rpms. Im scared that eventually I wont have a third gear.

mine did the same thing for almost a year before i rebuilt the transmission, and there was no visible damage, i was tracking and doing 1/4 mile during this period as well...if it's bothering you swap it, but if it were me, and i had a spare transmission, i would get it rebuilt, and and save for a nice new clutch, before i took anything apart...don't worry about gears if you have a spare...

I was wondering what kind of front power brace do you have in front of your radiator??is it the cusco one for the evo 9??if so would it fit or did you modify it to fit to the car?
