I was looking into this and it doesn't look like a straight swap to me. It was different enough that I abandoned the idea.

 

I confirm it won't. I purchased one and it didnt come close to fitting.
The garage I go to asked me if I wanted to cut and chop it to make it fit, but considering the cost of it new and then labor for making it fit, it wasn't worth it.
Your better off purchasing good tubing and clamps from a company like say vibrant or whatever, and then bending it to what you need. That's what I ended up doing and the result is much better. Regarding exhausts for our car, custom is the way to go.

 

a good exhaust shop should have bending equipment, and should be able to make something...but there are cat back exhaust systems specifically for lancers last I checked...
