Got a CEL, and autozone reader won't work
Any suggestions? See the topic. Have you had your code pulled b4 at AutoZone. Car runs fine, no timing pulled or anything.

I have. They may be hitting the wrong plug. Take a look under there and see if there's more than one plug. When my CEL went off, I went to an Auto Parts place, and they claimed that they couldn't pull the code due to a "newer" OBDII plug. I thought that was BS, but I could be wrong. Went to another place, AutoZone, and they did it no problem. Could try Murray's, too.

Hmm ok, thats good to know. The plug they trie dwas the closest to the radio column and of course under the steering wheel area. It plugged right in just didn't scan anything.
Not to sure on why their didin't work. I watched them pull codes of a lumina after mine so I know their tester works. I wil try another pats store. |
