Mishimoto Evo VIII Radiator

Finally got tired of my stock radiator leaking fluid out of the top gasket, so I decided to put an Evo VIII Mishimoto radiator in. Definetly a good move in my opinion:
-440+ for new stock vs 220+free shipping from Ebay for Mishimoto.
-Mishimoto easily twice as think as stock although i dont need the extra cooling atm
-Looks great! and an easy install :D

Problems:
- Smaller fan does not fit without some fabrication to the fan (alternator is in the way and shroud fitment pegs do not have a place to sit)
- Large fan needs two brakets made because mounting pints are a shade off. (made some cheap and easy makeshift brackets
(Mishimoto alluminum twin fan shroud (285 from home sight, 185 ebay (looks like the same)

I'll attempt to put pictures up, havent attempted to before. {thumbup}

I never mounted the small fan and have been driving around with no problems even on long trips. I made my own brackets for the other fan and have had zero problems s. I really y enjoy the new look.when I do more power mods I might try to get that small fan in or buy a matching fan kit from somewhere that will work

so are there any powergains without any other mods or is this just a "gateway" mod lol

What is the part number and/or description of the Mishimoto TWIN fan shroud mentioned by OP? It looks like only a single fan shroud is installed by the text (second fan was omitted) so does that mean then that only a SINGLE fan shroud was ordered with the EVO VIII radiator (I think the P/N is MMRAD-EVO-01)?

I am having coolant disappear (2 - 3") from the inside of the radiator core, with no visible leaks anywhere else (not water pump, overflow bottle, or hoses). Also, nothing in oil (clean as a whistle) and not on plugs (just had head gasket changed less than 1000 miles ago). Mechanic diagnosed that the coolant was leaking from where the plastic end tanks meet the aluminium core, but can't see anything. I'll take his word for it and throw a Mishimoto radiator at the problem.
