02 sensors, CEL's and headers
 

so i'm running a rrm header, downpipe with a high flow cat and custom exhaust.

i'm still triggering a CEL even with the RRM CEL eliminator

i noticed when i was doing the install the tip of the 02 sensor was pretty black, so is the sensor just dirty and needs to be cleaned or is it blown?


thoughts?

If your o2 sensor was on it's way out you would have been triggering a CEL even before your install. You reset your ecu after the intstll?

What code is it throwing? The header throwing a CEL isn't exactly a new problem. Sometimes I just get tired of fighting them and disable it :P

i installed 2 weeks ago rrm headers+downpipe+h.f cat and i already had a magnaflow muffler on. My CEL light keep coming on and off, it depend how it feels, loll. Beside getting the CEL eliminator, is there anything else i could do to not have the CEL?

I've got the OBX header/dp and i've tried everything to get rid of that p0420 code. Tried different combinations of the same fowler rrm uses for there fix, a highflow cat, and a combination of the two. Nothing works for me :(

Buy the elminator from Weapon R it works I've never had a P420 code since I put it on.
