Blown motor. Replacing with 4g69 from AWD Outlander. Issues with this?
 

Can I use a refurbished motor from an 05 AWD Outlander in an 04 Ralliart 5spd?

I've been without my Ralliart for a long time and would love to get it going. Any info would be much appreciated!

You should be able to. The oil pan will need to be swapped over though as those are probably the only differences between the two models I believe.

I bought a 2007 Eclipse Gs 5spd with 4g69 in great condition. Parting the lancer and finally getting rid of it after its been sitting for the last 6 years.

I did the exact same thing lol! Ralliart's engine failed and I didn't have the capacity to be without a car so I went in the market looking for something for a good price. I love Mitsubishi and the 4G69 so I picked up a 2008 Eclipse GS in amazing condition for $2000 CAD. Pretty sweet deal. But my heart is still with my Ralliart. It's sitting in my driveway and waiting for me to build him back up. He's a trooper!
