loose bumper

Quick question: I was driving home from work one night a while ago..and it was pretty late...well, i hit a raccoon with my ralliart...it hit on the right front of the car by the headlight...well, upon inspection, there was no discernable damage...but upon a closer look, i see that there is a gap below the headlight, and u can tell real if you look real close that it is not right...it is hardly noticeable, but should i have it fixed? or is it something that is gonna cost more than it is worth? thanks for the input...

which way can you fit your key in it? Go to a mitsu dealership and look at the gap on one of their RA's. It is tough to say anything unless you post pictures or something.

I had the Exact same thing happen to me, late at night, raccoon, right front.. VERY ODD. the lower part of my bumper was loose. i looked underneath the bumper and saw that a little plastic bracket was broken. there are 3 of the brackets in all i think. So i went to Mitsu and asked what i should do. They said i could claim it and pay the $500 deductable, or pay them to replace the bumper.... then he said that rubber cement would do the trick..and it did.

So check for that bracket, maybe its a raccoon lure. Of course in my case, I hit the biggest damn raccoon i have ever seen..

I havent hit anything and I have about 1/4" gap below my right front headlight, and no gap for the left front.

Mine was like that when I bought it. After taking the bumper cover off for the mesh install, I put it back on right, and the gaps are even on both sides now. There's a clip under each headlight that the bumper cover goes into, I think they missed one of them.

You could love washing mine, too.

I was going to wash it today, since I was out of town all last weekend (camping in the Mojave Desert), but I'm stuck at work today.

We've had this discussion before, remember? I'm in Union Grove, near the other end of Hwy 11. Last time I was in Janesville, was on my way back from Black River Falls. I stopped at the Hooters in J-ville for some food and whiplash.
