question on sound system

hey if i want to change my system but keep the stock CD player do i need to use that soundgate adapter that everyone is talking about, or is that for just changing the CD player? because i have the S&S package on my RALLIART and have new subs and a amp to put in it.

yes you need a adapter, not necissarily the soundgate one, but an adapter that way you can change out the stock cd player. Soundgate also makes an adapter to change out the amp and sub also

There's a soundgate adapter for the amp end of the wiring that you'll need.

If you're investing in subs and amp, consider finishing the job with a new head unit that will better control your sound. It's worth it.
