Security + Remote Starters

Anyone know ne thing about Galaxy 5000RS-2W Remote Starter with Full Alarm? or Performance Teknique Car Alarm & Remote Engine Start?

ive never really heard much about these =S
i kinda want 2 way alarm system + remote start .... and esp trunk release... anyone have any suggestions as to what is good?

keeping in mind i would like to stay under 250$

I will back you up on that viper alarms are the shiznit. Had mine on my car for about a year and I love it.

black widow. i have one and ppl with vipers get pissed when i show all the features and say it only costs $180 =) FM 2way, remote start /w clutch safety mode for autos, lots of alarm modules. great system.

I have that same viper, i love it. i had them remove the cover for teh LED and flush mount it in the drivers side a pillar.

i've had the viper alarm/command start in my sunfire for the past 6 years and haven't had any issue yet, i'm putting the compustar 2way in my RA in April.

get the compustar! its alot better.

hmmm all i can find is Command Start Alarm / Remote Starter for like 300$ Canadian... but its at best buy and i don't trust them touching my car.... and also haven't heard ne thing good about this alarm system

so any ppl living in Toronto or near Toronto that know a good place to buy and get it installed?

anyone let best buy touch their car? howd it come out in the end?

i wouldnt trust best buy or circuit city with my car....and i used to work at cc! granted, i do all my own work, now. Granted i am an installer. definitely stick with a dei product (viper, python, clifford...) Personally, i'm going with the clifford avant guard 5.5 when it comes out.

sigh any ppl from Toronto that know where to get alarm systems + get them installed?

sigh i dunno any places other than best buy and they sell some ****ty thing =(
