sucks to be me

well.... the car broke
i was setting the nitrous jet and some assclown who said 'knew' what was doing neglected to equalize the fogger jets.... since i dont know 'nos' as 'good' as the guy i didn't look what he was doing...
the setup was to be a 150 shot....
the moron put a 200 nos jet w/ a 50 fuel jet......
bye bye gastet
pistons #2 & #3
manifold and belive it or not my hood, something jump out of the engine....


[joke] does waranty cover it [/joke]... course not....
the guy HAS TO PAY the complete engine!!!.......



so


my new 'thing' will be a "franky" -seal of secresy- i'll give details later but ill say this it will be dohc... i will make it fit!!! pictures of devastation soon... and from the proyect in a later date....

it goes on the same line... but only the evo head will be required... and ultimately modified to fit and work... no more intell

its more difficult then you think to put an evo engine in..

^^^ MIVECjohn is from PR, don't be surprised if it's done. Same way they said a 500whp ralliart isnt possible. TurboTech has a 508whp ralliart running around in PR.

So wait, you cant set up a simple nitrous system (ie changing out a jet), but your going to swap heads? Think the one through and research it completely before any attempt, this wont be like building with legos.......

No offense, Im just trying to impart upon you that your looking at a good sized project....

some friends that know evos very well sugested this to me recently. i would wait for the evo9 and get a dohc mivec head =) too late for that tho, by the looks of it. and u better stab ur 'friend' in the face

I'm wondering if we'll be able to swap the DOHC MIVEC head onto our 2.4L block, that would be saaaa-WHEEET! We could make an awesome N/A setup with that (obviously a nice turbo setup, too)

oh btw, its not that 'difficult'. if you have money, its easy. civic hatchback with evo engine, early 90s lancer with evo engine, etc... anything is possible. especially when someone like in pr.
