Need a certain spline count. I don't know what ours is, though.

I am also 99 percent sure that (according to searches that i have done on here) that momo hubs will not work on our cars. You have to jiggy rig it to get it on there, its not a simple bolt on like most cars.

Also you'll have to get rid of your airbag

Unless it's a race only car ( not street driven ) I wouldn't swap for anything without an airbag. It is illegal to put a airbagless steering wheel in a car that originally had a airbag. Plus you don't want the wheel embedded in your forehead if you get in a front end collision. Just a suggestion... I would like an evo wheel but too much $$$

the only REAL fix to this problem is to find an evo w/ a good steering wheel with its airbag

Yes it would be. you would still lose the Cruise control option as the Evo's don't have it.

However, go to a dealer and ask how much a complete setup would be (wheel and bag).... Unless you have a lot of coin....your gonna drop when you hear the price.

OK....its not THAT bad....Its more like CF hood shipped to your door....or Evo steering wheel from the dealer.

Look on Ebay or try your local reckers yard.....you MAY luck out.

i'm sure there would be a way to custom Fab the cruise control option, even if it took 2-3 buttons, you could do it.

Sure you could. All you REALLY need to do is create a pivot point for the lever, run the wires and have the sensors hooked up for the accelerator and neutrol (decrese speed) functions of the cruise control shaft.

It doesn't seem to be THAT hard to fabricate...I haven't seen what the pivot point looks like. You MAY be able to take it straight off the stock wheel. Who knows? First task is acquiring the Evo wheel.
