Lancer Elbow Rash

I noticed for the last few months that I've had what looks like a rash on my right elbow almost like I took a fall and it wont heal. But it has stayed there for awhile. I have no idea what it is or how I got it. I just noticed this past week that its exactly where my right arm rests on the cloth armrest. I sit in traffic alot so I'm constantly shifting for about 2 hours each day. I've never had this before but my last car had a smooth plastic arm rest.

Everyone check their right elbow. Anybody else have this, or should I just see a doctor? Or am I crazy and shouldn't worry about it?

Ah yes, isnt traffic wonderful? MA and Northern Va are known for those two hour traffic commutes. My recommendation, go up to a skate shop and get an elbow pad.

2005 RA here. In 05 RA the arm rest is shorter so you can't realy rest your arm on it.

Clean the armrest with a non-allergenic cleaner (such as vinegar + water on a colorfast rag). See if that helps. If not, go to an allergist and find out what stuff you're allergic to.

Sure the rash is on your elbow I believe you. I would recomend some Lamisil AT for your "elbow rash".

I was just wondering how you can have your elbow on the armrest and still shift? Either my arms are really short or your arms are really long because if i put my elbow on the armrest, my hand cannot reach the shifter. I usually have 2 water bottles in the cup holes and my elbows are resting on those most the time...

become martha stewart and make yourself a leather cover. It should work out fine. There are screws that you can undo and take the old cloth as a template and cut a piece of leather and sew it up martha style.

I can shift without having my elbow leave the rest, it's just a flick of the wrist.
