Need an ashtray

Two nights ago some punks broke into my car and swiped my cd wallet and my two ashtrays in the car. Funny thing about it is one ash tray was empty and the other only had garbage in it, oh well. Anyways the dealer here wants $91 for the front ashtray and I didn't even bother asking about the back one.

So if anyone happens to have one from a salvaged vehicle or anything of the sort please PM me with a price.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

check the for sale section for part-outs of wrecked lancers. There was an OZ in there last week.

lol

sorry to laugh, but all of things to grab, the ashtrays??

...The other idea would be that if you don't smoke don't worry about replacing them...then advertise "never been smoked in, so no ashtrays"

Yeah I checked the junk yards in my area but they don't have a single lancer. I definitely plan on checking more junkyards though.

I know it's weird to grab the ashtrays. I'm assuming they thought there would be change in them but when you pick it up and there is no noise or anything you would thnk they'd figure it out. Then again I'm guessing these people aren't exactly 'shining examples of humanity' in the first place.

Currently working on building something to fit in the spot to hold my ipod...I will let you know if I do not need my ash tray...don't smoke, rather against it actually, so I have no need if I can fill the gap "effectivly".

Ill keep you updated man...

it sounds like the dealership stole it and now they're trying to sell it back to you to actually make the theft worthwhile.

Build a gauge pod that fits in there, and add the gauge of your choice.

I bet if I priced out every piece of my car with dealership values, I'd find it's worth over a million dollars

Yeah I don't need the ashtray for anything. All I was using it for at the time is for little bits of garbage but if I can find something better to go there I'll definitely do that. A gauge or something might not be a bad idea, I just need something to go there because right now I can a fat yellow wire conduit back there and it looks tacky.
