Changing Front Bulbs

Whats up guys, I am trying to replace my front headlights but the stock bulbs will not come out of its socket, is there some kind of mechanism that needs to be pushed I have tried numerous things but it will not come out. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

There is a collar that you need turn turn off first. Unplug the connector, and with a gentle wiggle they will pop out.

how do i unplug the connector, that is whats giving the problem now..it won't come out

Once you unplug the wiring from the back of the bulb, there's a big locking ring that holds the bulb in. Turn that counterclockwise about 1/8th turn to remove. Then the bulb should just pull straight out of the headlight.


EDIT:

There's a little tab in the top center of the plug you have to push to release the plug, then it pulls straight off.

hmm I don't know then, i have been pushing that tab and trying to pull it off its just not coming out, must be stuck or something, thanks for the help though guys

I used my key to push in that little tab and it popped right out.
