We're casting for another nationwide TV commercial for this Sunday, the 13th.


Here are the requirements:

Brightly colored Eclipse, Lancer , Evolution, Supra, 240sx, G35, 350z (i.e. Silver, White, Blue, yellow, orange, gold)



RICEY-STYLE cars WILL BE CONSIDERED, but in this case, the producer’s are leaning to a wild but tasteful look.



BIG WINGS ARE A PLUS…they want something AGGRESSIVE looking.

NO RED or NO BLACK CARS....Producer's mandate...don't bother emailing me asking me "why man, my black car is cool?"

The more outside mods, the better

Motor mods MAKE NO DIFFERENCE…don’t send me specs on a motor or pics…it’s a waste of everyone’s time.

CAR NEEDS TO BE IN SO CALIF. ON SUNDAY AT 7AM Car will work from 7AM till 7PM in Hollywood, Calif. area

YOU WILL BE PAID at LEAST $300.


Car will only be driven to make a right hand turn.


You can be on set to supervise, if you wish.


You are responsible to drop off and pickup the car.


Insurance coverage is provided.

This is a Ford commercial...they simply need a stoplight scene where the car rolls up, looks at the Ford, then turns right. I'm told that the girl driving the Ford is a hot supermodel. The premise of the commercial is that the tuner guy (who is perceived to be hip, stylish and cool), looks at the Ford with a new found respect. It is NOT a dis to the tuner community, so spare me your “sell out” conspiracy theories.

This is a nationwide commercial run that will commence in 90 days.

I understand why they don't want black but your ralliart would look good in a comercial. Why not black, my car is so cool.

 

Well, I'm out. I have a black car with no external mods other than some pretty inconspicuous mesh in the grille and black brake caliper paint.

Hope someone in an RA gets it, though. Any publicity is better than what we've had.

 

Yea for sure, i was looking through some import magazines the other day and i saw 1 04+ lancer and it was an add from accolade. The only articles i've seen of a ralliart are online and are comparisons. I want an article on a ralliart only. lol

 

Magazines don't view the lower end lancers as legit tuner cars though. There are a ton of Evo's for them to choose from and they make more money from publishing what the majority of people want to see. Anyway, I do have 1 article write up that was on the Ralliart but it's one from Australia. I'll have to check with the owner to make sure that she doesn't mind me sharing it with everyone.

 

Yea i know what you're saying it just irritates me that i saw a bunch of crap on the scion tc and civic si which are both competitors to the ralliart.

^^^ It's an tv ad probably for the face-lifted 07 ford focus.

Thats because toyota and honda market there cars as 'tuner vechicles', while mitsubishi doesn't market the ralliart as anything at all. Funny, and they wonder why the sales are such a slump. That is mitsubishi problem, there marketing SUCKS. It's pretty much non existance and what marketing they do put out, I could do better with a couple of my friends and my sony camcorder.

Anyone else see the irony in what he's looking for? Big wing, lots mods, big stereo, engine?...well it has to be able to make a turn, but not really "ricey-sytle"

And sorry but that sounds like a lame-*** commerical anyways...like the last "big" ford one with that Idol *** singing...

If you want to show the car as cool take a look at the VW "unpimp your ride" commericals...damn, now I want a GTI...
