VIN number...

well on monday i got pulled over by a local cop for not having my third brake light. after viewing my registration and insurance he noticed my registration was expired soo i went to go get it reregistered and they told me that my "account" is on hold because there is a problem. aparently someone in virginia has the same VIN number as mine and theyve done something illegal. soo now i gotta wait until monday for them to figure out whats going on.

I think what he's saying is someone else used his VIN for something and got in some trouble. Not that his VIN is reported wrong.

I dont think there is the letter "O" in a VIN for the simple fact that it can be confused with a zero in writing.
