High pitched noise while warming up?

Recently noticed a high pitched noise coming from somewhere in the drivetrain (maybe) when the car is warming up. It doesn't worsen or change while driving. I don't think it's anything related to steering or brakes because the sound is there even while idling. It goes away after a good 5-10minutes of warming up. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have an exhaust? Modifications would help.

No mods. It sounds like some metal is vibrating against metal. But it's very high-pitched and more on the subtle side (not annoyingly loud).

probably just your belts/pulleys being cold? I hear a screeching sound but it goes away in like 3 minutes...

My bet is on cold belts/pulleys. My DSMs always made that high-pitched noise for a few minutes in cold weather, it was the timing belt. Perfectly normal.
