There are some sellers and shops that can get you a front clip from a JDM Ralliart...

http://www.j-garage.com/sale/parts/jdmparts.html

There are many others....locally we have 2 shops that can get used JDM parts and clips. But it takes a lot of $$$$.

Good luck on your proyect...

Stupid idea.

I agree. Biggest waste of money. There is no real purpose to doing this other than to be different. I guess this guy is just an attention *****. Lamer.

i was actually looking into that a while back but everyone told me that it costs way too much money to get it over here and pass all US safety and emission laws. i wonder if its easier to ship one from austraila or UK, etc. to the US? if i dont have to i dont want to sell my RA, its grown on me.

I dont understand why people hate on doing a rhd conversion. It is something different, and definatley not an easy thing to do. Anyone that takes the time and money to do it deserves respect.

Just because something isn't easy to do or different does not mean it is good or deserves respect. Anyone can **** their money away however they see fit, but don't count on others to approve or support it.

There are 100,000s of rhd Lancers in the world. The OP isn't doing anything special by adding one more and he's doing so at great cost and effort. Again, it is his money and he can **** it away any way he chooses.

Typically, the people that do these things live at home with Mommy and Daddy and have no real understanding or appreciation for money. They lack the maturity to really appreciate what it means to earn a living and support themselves and that's why they waste their money on something so frivolous.

Can you honestly not find anything better to do with your money?

by the way u are in america its alot easier to drive on the left, if u need attention so bad that u want people to ask u about your right hand drive car, just get a mohawk its alot cheaper.

ok, your missing the point of a rhd/lhd conversion. you are supposed to do it to convert a FOREIGN car for DOMESTIC use. After the conversion, you have to reregister the car with you DMV. Any non-domestic part must then be certified. Every one. to show it is 100% equivalent to the US model version, just flipped. you cant just say it is, you have to pay for some engineering documentation. even then, local/state law may STILL forbid you from using it on the road simple because its not lhd. some friends of mine did this with a batch of skylines a couple years ago, and the cost for the conversion with paperwork was a little more than a new RA. they were very well connected, owned a reputable shop, and did all the work themselves...

Importing an exotic car thats rhd... cool. converting a very common, fairly cheap domestic car TO rhd? more people will laugh than be impressed, tbh. just buy a Porsche or something
