Poly shifter bushings

Anyone with the zaklee shifter bushings see a buzzing noise and feeling coming from around the shift boot area after the install. This occurs once the mivec kicks in between 3500-4500...im not sure if anyone else had this occur, or maybe something is just loose around my boot and needs to be tightened.

Try taking the centerconsole out and checking to see if anything came loose. I have used both the kartboys, and the Lancershop Brass ones and have seen no noise. Right now i'm still running the stock ones because i had some problems with the brass, and well the polyones I took out for i don't know what reason... I just took them out one day.

I have the Poly shifter base bushings which are nice.

Well i'm running a catless 2.25 pipe with 1 resonator and 1 muffler, also with Kartboy exhaust hangers and I don't have a rattle, so it must be something loose under there. Maybe one of the nuts/bolts on the shifter setup came loose, if so you're going to want to check that out asap. Could always be one of the shifterbase bolts that hold the assembly down. I know one of mines was semi-loose when i went to replace the bushings.

Just a hunch, but you're probably hearing the stock flexpipe rattle.

well doesn't he have the downpipe and header combo? I know i get some rattle when i'm at like 20% throttle around 3000-4000 RPM's with my setup, but that's just cause of my muffler and its in back not up near the shifter.

Could be some resonation rattling the heatsheild over the are where the cat used to be maybe?
