tinted tails?!

Hey!
Maybe its a dumb question but did anyone tinted their stock ralliart tail lights?!
I am just curies because i wanna do it to my tails but i haven't saw any tinted tails just blacked out depo ones...
i am worried that if i gonna tint them this fake a$$ chrome won't look good... :/
also i am thinking about putting them apart and then black out this chrome and spray a tint on a cover...

anyone has any pics maybe?!

thanks!

Tint as in tinting the outside cover right? I had it done but it was waay too dark so I took it off. I think Blue-Batmobile sells "overlays" for tailights if you're into that thing.

There are a few people with blacked/tinted tails but I can't remember any names off the top of my head.

People have had trouble taking the stock tailights apart and putting them back together. A while ago a member had tried to bake them apart, but after that he broke his knives prying it apart, was that you bruce? Can't remember...

I still like the Depo's that I have

you can also pick up some tinted spray paint and spray the tails, i did that with my old car and it looked really good but over time it faded a little.

yeah i know but you see ralliart have this fake chrome inside the tail light which look bad and if i will spray tint it this chrome will still be standing out....

and as far as i know bake them is not that hard.. i know lots of ppl that done it to their headlights and taillights (for example EVO) ...
i just wanna see some pictures of just spray tinted ralliart headlight...

You can't bake the tail lights, they have to be cut, and there's no easy way to do it. Our tail lights do look good tinted.

No, window tint wouldn't work, it's not designed to withstand weather conditions. It'd start to flake off within a few months. It's a durable smoked vinyl.

i think someone by the name of bluebatmobile or something made them.. not sure if he still makes them but they looked really nice.

Window tint is made for being interior only.

Also you could use the spray on tint, though I hear that rubs off after a while if you don't use it on the interior of tailight assemblies. And trust me, the taillights DON'T come apart easily I have one tail light spare ripped apart and it took me forever, I would up cracking the lense and it was entirely not worth the effort.
