I have liabillity only car is paid for. Im 22 and never had a wreck or speeding in my history, yet apparently In being taken for ride on car insureance!
I work in the health insurance field and let me tell you what, Im sick of people *****ing about health insurance...car insurance and home owners insurance are the companies that are really reaming out our rear-ends!
I have decided that IF I keep it Im going to get the whole car re-painted and every little ding fixed, it is just hard to plop down half of what the car is worth for some body work ya know.

what you would pay to fix it etc would be cheaper than a new car payment, ins, and tax etc...that's low mileage anymore, bottom line, if you like the car keep it, better off $$$$ wise too.
That is true. I did find a 2000 Audi S4 for $9K. It had 120K on it and with the reliabillity of Audi and cost to up-keep it would be stupid, but if a 4-door luxury sedan with AWD, twin-turbos, and six-speed gear box doesnt make a lump in your pants...nothing will.
Guys, the car is not totaled! I really got to looking at it today; new door and new quarter panel and some paint, like otter said, and I will be good to go.
The night of my accident I put my true hobby up for sale, and yall may not believe it but I sold my three freshwater stingrays for $1500 in 20 minutes. Im kicking my self for doing it now, as they are almost mature and will net me around $5k-10K a year from selling their pups (babies). The only upside is, I will be nearly out of that VERY time consuming hobby and after giving it some real good thought today, Im going to stick with my ralliart for the next 3-5 years. The car is paid for, and Im in a perfect position right now to buy my first home. It would be REALLY stupid for some one my age in my position with the possibility of home ownership to waste their money on a "new" car. I'm taking the car to a shop owned by a family friend who will charge me not much more then cost so I might as well have the whole car re-done to be like new, throw some bolt on goodies for a little bit more excitement and maintain her well until I can afford something really nice and really better AFTER I buy a home.
Now, just where in the hell can I get a good deal on a ralliart passenger quarter panel and rear passenger door?! lol
