the intake made tour cel come on, once the code is thrown it wont go off until you get it cleared u can do this by going to auto zone or unplugging your batery for 5 min should reset it

based off of what max4rw is saying... to reset your ecu you should just unplug the negative terminal on your battery for about 5-10 minutes and then put it back on and turn your car on for about another 10 and let it idle... and then drive around for another 15-20 so your ecu can learn the new intake... when driving try not to do any high revving... thats what i did when i installed my intake and it seemed to work fine

To clear a CEL, you can either go to autozone and have them use their code reader to clear it, I have my own so I can do it myself, they only cost like $80. Or you can dissconnect you battery for about 10 mins. This resets your ecu completely instead of just clearing the code, so it's gonna have to relearn the fuel maps based on your mods.

The process you want to follow to have it accurately and safely relearn the fuel trims is as follows:
1. allow engine to idle for 10-15 mins
2. Drive "conservatively" being careful not to go into WOT or rev above 3k rpm for about 20 mins.

After that you should be good!

yea i already got it cleared and had to put the stock back in but i think i have a leak some where i already knew about resetting the ecu with the battery i did it withe the scaner the first like 2 times..... the code is saying something about the heat sensor but thats in the air flow sensor...... so i dunno i guess its just mor trial and error.... either that or im just gunna wait till i get the rest of what i want and spend the money on a diff intake.... this one is a spectre and i had 2 drill the hole bigger and ****

Code readers can be found for $30-40 for a basic one.

most my CEL codes come back and its air in cam issue from the CAI.
Heat issue sounds like something worth investigating.
If you are near an AutoZone, they scan your CEL for free.
I exploit that like its my job.
