Any Ralliarts in ANY magazines????

Geardownson, you should put yours in. yours has a good combination of looks and performance. Only problem i'm thinking of, is if these magazines are gonna put the "baby brother car" in there magazine, it has to be extreme. Not just a bolt on turbo kit. Which is why SSP and I should have a good chance. But the only mods I have to my car's exterior is the CF hood and rims. I would need a body kit and a car wash lolol.
GDS bulletproof your motor and up the boost. come on man lol.

I think your best bet would be to have enough all around mods to win at "big" car shows or races if your winning consistently at national touring events you will get the attention needed to land a mag.

I didn't see the Super Street feature but I remember the Sport Compact
Car one. They tested a RA against a Spec V.
They liked the RA styling better. Plus it had a higher dyno output,
even though the Spec V is rated at 175 hp or something. Made mid to
high 150's in both Hp & Tq on a Dynojet.
Better rear suspension. The biggest letdown for them was the relentless
understeer and lack of a lsd.
The Spec V's six speed and lsd helped it take the win. The RA shifter
was much better received than the Nissan's though naturally.
I think it is very possible. I think the problem is that there is not
enough submissions. I've seen lesser cars with less work make it. Just
pick the right magazine.
With SCC gone, your best bet is Modified(now with Andy Hope & Jay Chen
from SCC on board) or Grassroots Motorsports. Get some track or Auto x shots.
Good luck to you. You dont need some stupid body kit either for coverage there.
Just to have a clean, tastefully modded ride should do.
I would not mind having mine grace the pages of something as well.
To the topic of no respect, try owning a Sportback. People ask all the
time what it is because they have never seen one. It nice to be
exclusive though, having one of 3000 imported instead of another Evo.
Which are everywhere. I could have bought an VIII, I chose this
instead. Although if a IX wagon was available to USDM I would own
that. I am slowly considering a '02 -'03 front end swap to support the
Kenstyle kit and Cedia badges. RHD is also a dream in the back of my
mind. I'm sure that would make it onto the pages of something but that is not the
reason for my build or my end goal. I just love my RA. Plain and
simple.
I think if we all sent in our cars at the same time they would pick one for sure. Think about it.
If you were a magazine editor, and you had 50 submissions come in for the same oddball car in one day...
You would have to give at least one some light. I mean, how could you not, really.

I believe that was the one created by Creative Performance. Too bad that magazine is'nt made by real car guys and thus is more about the girls and other irrelevant stuff than real car performance and tech.
Im pretty sure that in the Modified mag one doesnt need to have a very supped up car, just a nice clean one and specify that the mods have a real purpose. If we could get all the Puertoricans to submit our RAs (about 95% US-bound RAs) we would surely land something in the readers rides LOL.

I dont think i'lll ever get my car in a magazine. Worst luck ever. It'll blow up on the dyno i'm sure lol. Maybe SSP has a better chance of getting his ralliart in a mag than me. 12.7 all motor is just insane..
lets see an evo do that. Take off its turbo, see what it does. lol.

Why does every evo owner assume guys with RA's want evos? Ridiculous. Boy I just cant wait to pay 500-700 for a car plus insurance that most people think came straight out of fast and the furious. Average folks dont even know what evos are. My brother has an 8 and I find the RA more fun to drive. I went to buttonwillow earlier this year and was hanging w/ my best friends 315 whp evo He was blown away. The reason Ralliart on LSD wants to see an RA in a mag is because he wants to be different. From the look of his goals he could easliy pick up an evo but that is not the point, he wants something different. I could leave my house today and go straight to socal evo and pick up either a raped used 9 or new 10 but I simply am not interested. I personally would rather have an s2k for the track and the RA as my daily. Sorry for the rant
Once they added the evo ix awd drive train to the 2009 RA, I was sold. Less insurance, lower initial cost, more trunk space + fold down rear seats (couldn't wait for the sportback) over the evo.
The evo's an awesome car, but different strokes for different folks.

there was a magazine with a modded outlander with evo engine about 1 or 2 yrs ago. I'd have to check. There was another mag that had a page of ralliarts from canada a few yrs ago!
