SRS Weird issue

Hi all,

Yesterday, my SRS light came on in my cluster. I do have an ODB2 reader, but since the SRS is not using the ECU, and has its own ECU, I could not get the code. So I went to the dealership today to get this looked at.

I arrive at the dealership, explain the problem and mention that I've done nothing to the car yesterday, which is true. They take a look at the code and they read : The SRS light is on. They clear the code, the light goes off and didnt come back since. They saud theyve never seen this issue. They didnt charge me anything.

Anyone knows anything about this ? I changed my cluster to an Evo cluster a month or 2 ago and installed a Scangauge 3 days ago, that's all. Nothing explaining why the light came on yesterday night.

I'm going on a long trip this weekend so I'll know if it comes back. But I'm just wondering if anyone of you know something about this.

Thanks !

Neo
