so im taking off my the rear spoiler, but i was wondering if there was a way to keep the brake light on the spoiler without cutting it? and where would i disconnect it, would i have to take off my whole trunk?

There's a connection inside the trunk lid , disconnect push through hole.

What do you plan on covering the holes with? I'd like to take off my spoiler too.

 

You can use plugs or vinyl over it , vinyl is my choice..
this has been beaten to death...

You should be able to find one in the evo for sale section for less but I would lean against it. Not only do I not like it but cops love them but it's your car bro...
