the only rebate the saleman told me about was the $1000 Mitsubishi loyal rebate for any Mitsu car. he says they won't put any rebates on the ralliart since it's a new car and it's limited production. i'm trying to get him down under sticker then i will pick mine up pretty soon

The MSP is a great car but it isn't the best handling car in its class, the Ford is. The Skidpad rating is a good way to measure the handling but not the deciding factor. The SVTF has higher skidpad ratings anyways! The vehicle weight plays a huge role.
The deal with the MSP is the Turbocharger. Its harder to keep it in the powerband since it has the turbocharger.

I love my ralliart so far.
I just recently got a ralliart and I'm loving it so far. I was looking for a new car for a good year and decided on the Mitsu because it was a lot more fun to drive compared to the other cars I was considering. I can't wait to get totally in sync with it later on down the line, so I can have a lot more fun driving it.

I agree that you can get a bargin on a WRX anyway making it 25k with options.
