Cabin Air filter

So this is what came out of my cabin air filter. ugh. and that was just what i smacked onto the ground. I vacuumed it out and put it back but i'm gonna replace it. I know some of you guys have cut your own by getting a big house filter from walmart or something.

my question is how did you cut it properly? cause i mean the one for the car is a certain thickness and has the plastic pieces to screw in.....how did you guys fit it?

Yeah except most stuff ships from the states and i need to pay extra going through customs or duty or whatever. If I can make my own, I'd like to at least try....or I might just check the local dealer.

i believe Otter was one who said he would use the house filters and cut them down to size, id shoot him an email if i were you and ask. if you find out post it up on here, that or just go buy one and compare the size to the stock one. experiment. ebay ones are stupid cheap too, sucks you live in canada bro the shipping from and to there is terrible

I'm in the same position right now, but I don't think I'm going to even check it until I buy a filter.
