Fog lights

This morning we had a lot of fog, so I turned on my fog lights but I didn't see any difference. Is it because I have HID's or because they are week or there is something wrong with them?

Fog lights really only provide a light at a low angle so the light from your headlights which is reflected back by the fog does not blind you, or make it hard to see. So if it was already light out, you wouldn't see too much of a difference

Well typically fog lights are yellow to reduce the amount of light that reflects back. I have yellow bulbs in mine and although they don't shine very far, the local clarity is improved.

What color bulbs do you have?

Maybe it's time to replace your bulbs? Mine are fine, though I rarely ever turn them on.

I run the Nokia Hyper Yellow fog lights and they seem to work well in the fog. They are really bright to. The key that I found was to lower your head lights with the switch on the drivers side. This will keep the light from reflecting back at you and blinding you. Not to sure if the RA has this lovely tool or not but if so I recommend lowering your lights while in fog. Hope this helps.
