I have a carbon fiber evo8 wing on the way and I'm now trying to pretty much find out how hard/easy they are to install? I was curious if the evo8 wing fits in the same holes the RA holes go? Will I have to drill? what tools do you use to "install" a new wing? Blah, never messed with wings in the past but I cant wait to have the CF Evo8 wing on my silver RA. Please help with advice on whether or not I should take it somewhere to be done? how hard or easy it is? what tools needed? etc.

I have no idea on how hard it will be to install, probably be easiest when you see the bolt locations on the evo 8 wing. Shouldnt be to hard. Did you buy your wing off ebay?

If the trunk is the same as the evo, the underside of the trunk will have the same cut outs that you will be able to attach your bolt and nuts with. The wing does have a plastic tab on the right side you will either have to chop off or make a hole for. Good luck.

Measure twice, drill once,, dont forget double sided tape.

The trunk is NOT the same as the evo's. I don't think it conforms to the same shape and the 02-03 Lancer's sqaure-ish lid.

I could be wrong, but I haven't seen an 04 close enough to be sure.
