Headlights Fogging up

I've had my RA for a month today, and I actually noticed on several occassions that the Headlights end up fogging in the inside. The dealer is actually ordering me new ones but am I the only this has occurred too. Notice nothing on the boards in regards to this.

Before I bought my current car I noticed at the dealer that the lights had moisture in them, i.e. fogged up, They knew as well, and as a quick-fix they drilled a very small hole into the bottom of each assembly(not the reflector, the plastic lense part). Since then they don't fog up, but there's still a bit of moisture in them, but they don't fog up at all...If it was a new car I woulda *****ed, but it's used, so what else can you expect?

So, if they weren't giving you new headlights, there's the way to fix

I've got it too man, but you're the only other case I've heard of besides mine. I'll call the dealer and see what they can do.

Guy bought a silver RA like a week or two after me and is getting the same thing. I know the parts Mgr was looking into it.
I think that's why they are just ordering new ones in for me.
Hope that fixes it.

I had heard of drilling a small hole to stop it before.

My head lights fogged up too. I was gonna call the dealership and talk to them about it but my dad read in the Ralliart manual that they tend to fog up...So it may supposed to be normal. Dont hold me to this though..I didnt read it he did.

My headlights on my 2000 Eclipse had the out coating flake up and lights fogged. It was ugly and Mitsubishi was warrantying it if your car was still in the milage requirements...unfortuantely mine wasnt.

when i was talking to the service dept at my local dealership yesterday, he was saying that the headlights fogging is perfectly normal and its due to living in cold or rainy enviroenments. He said its only going to happen in the winter normaly.
