Sick! That'll be awesome.

I wish I was doing fun turbo swaps on my car. I'm about to rip it back apart again. The crank broke in the #1 rod journal... I have a new crank from Manley on the way tho.

Switched Cars

Long time since I've been on this forum, but I kept notifications on so I could see how your guys builds were doing. Unfortunately since my Ralliart was totalled a few years ago I finally got my hands on a Mitsubishi to work on.

Going to be doing a 4g63 swap once I get it back to a reliable running condition. It's only the base model so it'll take some work sourcing parts but I think it'll be well worth it to me in the long run.

Ah I love the 3000gt's. My cousin has a VR4 that we are currently rebuilding. The thrust went out it in and ruined the block. 4G63 swaps are actually pretty popular in those cars. I saw several at the shootout this year. There was also one converted to RWD with an LS motor!

Just bought a new (to me) daily driver, 2011 ralliart in white with sun and sound...the 06 is hard down with a wiring problem...I suspect Mitsubishi techs pinched some wiring when they did the airbag recall service...no power to the ecu, and dome light blinks with the 4 ways...lol. currently pulling the dash out...will probably replace the blend box gears while I'm in there...at least now I can rebuild the transmission and maybe even build the block finally without having to worry about having a car to get to work...poor old girl will be a track queen...

My Evo dreams will have to wait yet again...

Dang. I was literally just telling Mike that you were still saving up for an Evo the other day. LOL

That exact thing is why I have been afraid to take my car in for that airbag recall... That and the fact that I snapped the crank in it... So... yea...

In good news we got my little brother's RA up and running again after a timing belt failure. Had to get 4 new valves, cleaned everything up and got it back together! I guess I cant call him a complete Ralliart noob anymore. LOL

Danggg FP Red... I wish I had that kind of scratch lol. I'm fine on my 20G from Turbos-R-Us though I havent done anything cool with my car lately aside from catch can and wire tuck.

If any of you guys have a Facebook we have a dedicated Ralliart group that we try to keep maintained and troll free Lots of RA builds and we're pushing for more products to be made since the RA has such a limited aftermarket supply

My little brother has had a black 04 RA for about a year and a half now. He told me about the group and said that you have to have a picture of your Ralliart as your profile background or they won't accept you. Said that he had been rejected once until he did it. I told him that I would bet money that someone I knew from EvoM is an admin and that I'd get accepted anyway. He didn't believe me. LOL
