Please help, Kaaz Front LSD install

A friend of mine asked for my help (he's not very computer friendly and I have more mechanical experiance), I've searched and searched and can't find an answer. He bought a Kaaz front LSD for his 2004 Lancer Ralliart, he dropped it off at the dealership to get installed, and the dealership called him back and said the axles will not fit into the LSD.

Has anyone had this problem?
Does the LSD work on the 2004 Ralliart?
Is their a solution?

I'm not very farmiliar with the Lancer line, I've mainly worked on Toyota's (I put my LSD in my celica myself and it was easy) and am not sure what "tricks" or work arounds you have to do on the Lancers. I know the MR2 guys sometimes have to machine the base of the axles to get them to fit in LSD's but this is a known issue and is well documented, so far I've found nothing refering to this on the lancer line.

Thanks for the help,
War

he got's a Kazz DM2010, he bought it from this site;

http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/ralliart.htm

they claim that it works, has anyone else bought and lsd for a ralliart from them?

The Mitsu mechanics says the lsd fits in the tranny like a glove, but the axles won't fit into the lsd, they are too big. I'm out of town right now so I can't drive down and see for myself.

I talked to ROCK(RRM owner) about this. Apparently their supplier said it will fit but there are 2 less splines on the one they say will fit. I think RRM is contacting those who got one due to this. Apparently RRM recently tried to install it into their car and had the same issue. They are getting the axle tranny ends switched out to fit... either that or a custom set of drive shafts(can't remember which). You should call them and get things settled as they are pissed as well about this.

Wow and now he has a nice bill from a Mitsu dealership for a failed installation because the part is not right! I would be mad!

Why would they sell a part to the public before testing it themselves?

you would think they try it before listing it as a ralliart only part

It works. Have a professional install it though. No guide for this install.

and you don't have to order new axles or anything?
it's a bolt-on, right? (well, bolt-on as in no extra needed parts other than time and money)
