It's mine, all mine (intro)

I would just like to say I've finally recieved delivery of my very own Ralliart. I opted out of the Sun & Sound because sunroofs add more weight and make noise. I would just like to start out by saying I hope to be a large contributor to this community.

I'm already in the process of making a few FAQ's and guides to ejumacate, the un-ejumacated.

My car is thunder gray. Other than rims and tires, it will be a N/A sleeper.

The first FAQ I will do is going to be a thourogh explaination on synthetic oil. There are so many rumors floating around that are complete crap. So many d*** a** mechanics at dealerships say this stuff to try and sound smart. I actually tore into one yesterday. Hopefully the moderators will make a special FAQ section once I get enough together. It will be written research style with references to better help my reliability factor.

Next I will do a write up on why we can beat an RSX Type-S through second gear. And after that I will do an engine ex.

You get an upgraded amp (325 i think). Plus an 8 inch sub with enclosure. I personally like the enclosure. It takes very little trunk space away. I would say you also get an Infinity sound system, but I think the stock models already come with Infinity speakers. Overall it's a big improvement ove rthe stock sound system.

Mine came with a 10" sub.Not to start a war.. But thats what is in mine.I think that may be why my car costed more than everyone else's.The rest you basically have right.. I dont know if the Others come with Tweeters,But mine came with infinity tweeters,Headunit, amp, and 10" sub.The sun part is obviously a sunroof. And it is definately a noticable difference from a regular system.I like the encloser as well but am getting 2 more 10" subs added.I just love having a loud a** system.

im pretty sure they upgrade all the speakers as well. the stock speakers are made by infinity, but theyre just some crappy disposable ones. the S&S package basically updrades every audio component to production infinity units. as well as adding the amp and sub, of course. someone correct me if im wrong, this is not confirmed information.

I'm almost positive that I have an 8. I couldn't remember if it was 8 or 10 inch woofer. It's no big deal. I'm not trying to start a war either. All the RA's come standard with the 6 speakers though. The crappy Lancers (j/k) only have 4 I believe.

Only thing I didn't like about the S&S package was the fact that you have to get both together. I really only wanted the sound system. But I kinda like having a moonroof so I guess it's all good.

What I really wan't is the same enclosure to fit over the other wheel well. I want some more bass but I don't wanna take up all the room in my trunk.

MitsuRalliArt has had a few very detailed posts here in the past, even before he was an RA owner. His views are neutral and accurate, and not biased in any way towards our cars (keep in mind he was skeptical of Ralliarts for months before he finally purchased one).

He's done his homework on the subjects he listed, and I'm looking forward to seeing what he has to say.
