After all the complaining about VIS not making the hood, look what I found...

Apparetnly these are VIS hoods. I tried emailing Next Gen kits, but their is a problem with their email form, perhaps someone else wants to try or try calling them. See if this is legit.

Intresting. The info I had gotten from VIS was they were working on a Evo8 style hood. That is a Evo5 hood (I think).

Any word on these things actually working with the Strut bar? i mean personally i heard VIS had problems with their CF hoods not working with the strut bar, that's why i didn't bother waiting on one when i had my car accident... But if these things work with the strut bar, i wouldn't mind purchasing one...

Good prices... I wish they had a better pic with the hood on!!! It says it only weighs 15lbs. Anyone know how much OEM hood weighs?

just got off the phone with the girl who works the counter down at that shop and its a mis-print. The hood is for a 2002-2003 lancer. It will NOT fit the Ralliart. sorry guys, my hopes were up too.

yeah i saw that a while ago, if you go to the other section for the 02-03 lancers. it has the exact same pics in it. dumbasses at that site don't know what they're doing apparently....

yeah i was gonna say it didn't look like it had the proper lines for the headlights, but now it's confirmed.

If Lancers sold as well as civics, we would have a MUCH larger selection to choose from other than having to resort to accolade for an aftermarket hood.

Damn it we should take over a carbon fab shop and mass produce the damn hoods ourselves, (only in a perfect world). I'm going to go for the accolade evo style hood.

just be paitent, something will come along. Our car is relatively new. Honeslty, I complain probably more than anybody about not having a good selection of aftermarket stuff, but really compared to cars as new as ours (mazda3) we definetly have a bigger selection of stuff. Just be paitent, something will come.
