(upsetting update) There's always something...Please help a guy out

Pics at the end of this thread!
Dont tl;dr please lol
EDIT 06/12: okay, well heres an update. I still have no idea what the issue is, if it's tranny related or clutch. Let's start from starting the car, it starts, then moves forward on its own with the clutch engaged. It has never done that before although I read it can be normal. It turns on, idles at 2.5(where the car moves forward) then comes down to 1000-700 (car stops moving). Let's say I have to back up at the start if the car, I put it in reverse (mind you this is during the 2.5k phase) and if I try reversing there's a force pushing forward (clearly the car trying to move forward.) If it warms up before I reverse it's all fine. I understand letting it warm up is a simple solution but it just bothers me because for me, it's abnormal for the car to do. Normally I could start, reverse and go. Anyway we start driving, here comes a red light. Slow down to a stop, car stalls. Unless I have my clutch in and disengaged. Pulling away from the red light it's in first everything's cool, put it in second, I can notice something a little fishy.( I need 2nd gear synchro work. Rememver this scenario is on a normal day I have to push the shift knob towards 2 won't go in, push it out just a hair, and push back towards 2 it goes smooth.) The fishy part is, now when I go to 2 from 1, it goes in easily with the first try but a tad "sticky" if you can get what I'm saying. Enough to make me question it, try to shift to 3 it is pretty difficult to take out of 2 to 3. After its in 3, 4th and 5th shift like air. My clutch pedal I feel is soft, or it may be me over reacting to the situation. ( or hoping its the clutch not tranny). Also when I drive in 5th gear if my foot is just resting on the clutch pedal, and I mean not much force at all, (for example if i had it on my accel pedal rpms would be at 3k). I see my Rpms climbing with such little force on the clutch pedal. Hinting to me my clutch may be fine, or maybe soft now that I think of it.
If i think of anything else to add ill update.

Just checked my boot and it is jammed, posting pics at the end of this thread. Possible easy fix? nothings ever easy, but i hope this one time it is

(OLD POST BELOW)

Well now I find it sometimes difficult to put it into first gear. With the engine off it all shifts seamlessly. When the car is on I can put it in first at a stand still (obvy) not in second (known issue prior to this) but, when I push in the clutch My Rpms raise to 1k. And when I let go my Rpms drop to 500 and once it stalled. Also I'm pretty sure I need a new tob. For when the clutch is engaged I hear....I want to say grinding sound. But not really grinding. Also the clutch is fairly good, I give it a 7 out of 10 for life left (but this is my first standard car so I could be wrong). Video coming tomorrow of sound from clutch engaged/disengaged.

Okay update: I turned on my car because I was blocking someone, in neutral my car was creeping forward. I put it in reverse and it took more gas then usual to back it up, like if something was holding my car in place. Then I put it in first, and same symptoms occurred. Upon leaving my house I put it in first and it went in like butter, then when I went to shift to second I pushed in the clutch and it took brute strength to get it out of first and into second, and every other gear is smooth as butter. At the first stop sign I put it in first as well, no issues, then shifted to second no issues. Then came to a stop light and my car stalls. Turned her on and drove on normally. Except one thing, when I'm driving and in neutral going 55+ I idled at 1.2k coming to a complete stop it goes to 500. Then corrects and goes to 800-1000. I heard this may be normal but for my car, it isn't. Sorry for the long post, but I'm beyond pissed, as this car has been a ****ing money pit for me. And I'm 19 with a part time job paying insurance and car payments all on my own. That's why I resort to this site so much to pin point the problem. If you made it this far thank you and I greatly appreciate any input. Almost resort to selling it...

How does the pedal feel? Could be a throwout bearing issue or pressure plate cause it seems like the clutch isn't disengaging.. Could be a broken spring.. Could be hydraulic inspect the CM and slave.. There's a lot of things it could be you just have to eliminate what it's not.. I'd say check the clutch fork see if the slave is engaging the throwout bearing..

MarkChamorro Jul 1, 2012 09:38 AM

Honestly I though the clutch wasnt fully disengaging either, today the car drove fine, but to me it doesn't mean the issue has been fixed, although it did stall again at a red light. It does it once every time I drive and then doesn't for the rest of the drive. Also checking all of those, idk where to even begin, I suppose google will be my friend this Sunday :)

Oh and the pedal feels good to me, normal I should say

RacerX-Ralliart Jul 1, 2012 09:47 AM

Like do you mean location wise? Theres a user on here Canada comp I think his name is and he was having trouble with the clutch too but his pedal feel would change we've concluded that it might be a broken spring that's why it won't disengage.. Did you buy the car with a new clutch? Or did you put it in yourself? Do you know what brand it is?

MarkChamorro Jul 1, 2012 10:08 AM

I believe the previous owner changed the clutch, no idea as to what it was, to excited/young to care when I bought it.

Also location wise? To which sentence? For the clutch feeling nice, it disengages about 1/2 way pushed in

RacerX-Ralliart Jul 1, 2012 10:39 AM

O sorry I meant why would google be your bestfriend? But know I know what you meant

Some people just change the disc to save money.. If the TB wasn't change or pressure plate that could be the problem but can't say without taking it apart

Yeah I have been having random periods of failure, absolutely random. I've been keeping track of it in my thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/04...way-out-3.html

I'll be dropping the tranny in the next few weeks when I have some time. I'll post up my findings.

yeah It's frustrating, I kind of want to get rid of my car as well... but I'll try to sort out the bugs with it and hopefully it won't cost me too much

Dave, had my car appraised my north side mitsubishi 2 weeks ago when they called me to come visit them for their 3 day weekend sale. I looked at a 2012 Lancer AWC with the gf.
Anyway, they offered me 8000 for it. I was surprised.

[end of hijack]

id say the 1st and 2nd gear syncro, my friend had an 06 eclipse and he would shift so hard and a lot of the times without actually depressing the clutch, just slammin gears. Mine is hard to shift if I dont push it all the way to the floor but it also engages only an inch or so from the floor

clutch disengaged is showing more pushrod, that's a good sign, are you able the push the rod all the way in back into the slave with your fingers?

Hmm I'm not sure, I'll get back to you on this first thing tomorrow. But I think I can't.

MarkChamorro Jul 13, 2012 05:28 PM

I could push it in, with some force and pushing all the way in is a negative, it just goes in slightly
