It's that time

:crap::crap: Ive had really poor luck this past week so I'm selling my RA to pay for expenses. I'm 19 so my parents want me to "learn my lesson" so I am getting no help. Which is how I was brought up so it's fine with me. I'll be back to these forums some day, with an Evo. Some day. But thank you guys so much, literally every question I've asked you guys have answered. I love you guys! Some of the most down to earth people. I'll be here and there. But not very active I suppose. Next car: some $500 hoopty. {thumbdwn}

that sucks...but in reality when i was your age, all my cars/truck cost less than $1000....

Yea, I was fortunate enough to get a 5k loan for it and pay for it myself. Really ****ing sucks. I don't even know how much to sell this for. :confused: ever have a moment when you wish it wasn't real. Yeaaaa lol

1st car was an 87 Fiero. ULTIMATE kit car. Yeah sounds like a POS, but it got me eventually to an Evo so I still love 2M4. "Learn your lesson" and come back stronger. The longer you drive a POS the more money you'll have to move out/do what you want. Don't resent your parents on this; it is absolutely the best gift they will ever give you if you understand why. In retrospect. Don't stay off the forum. Read, read, read, and when you achieve your goal of an Evo then you'll know exactly how you want to proceed with a build or help other newbs accomplish their dreams.:beer:

how many miles?

MarkChamorro Sep 12, 2012 12:32 PM

116,xxx and I do not resent my parents at all. This is a lesson. I absolutely regret what happened but definitely came out a more mature person. I will definitely be reading up on the Evo sub-forum,and perhaps come back to a nice RA. I love this car, especially as my first.

I'm sorry to hear this , we need all of our 1st generation ralliart owners we can get. Best of luck for your future Mark.

CrAnSwIcK Sep 12, 2012 01:14 PM

what are those going for these days? could you get 3-4k for it?

Absolutely love your response. This WAS your first car (maybe first new car) and forevermore will be your baseline. Remeber her, she was your first.{thumbup}

Kbb valued was 4.5 k in good condition. Which I say she's in. I probably would settle for 4k.

And dizaryl thanks man! And Lanzer I hear ya man. Maybe I'll get back in to it. At least what I hope. Love these RA I've seen one other ever in my life. Special machine.

Im in ohio and payed 3.7 for mine in ok condition, thats the manual version. He wanted 4k but we talked him down cuzz it needed tires and a battery.

EDIT: that was about 6 months ago

CrAnSwIcK Sep 12, 2012 06:18 PM

3.5-4k seems like a fair price at that mileage...

RacerX-Ralliart Sep 12, 2012 06:29 PM

I got mine for 3.5k with 115k miles but 500 for registration

pnoy_RA06 Sep 12, 2012 07:30 PM

damn. that sucks to hear man! my RA has been the only car that ive owned since i was 18. im now 23 and im just about to finish paying it off. luckily i managed to keep her despite being a lazy ass and not that much of a car know-it-all, i did my best to work hard just to pay off the payments and maintaining it. i honestly dunno what id feel if i have to sell it now, or ever really. but anyways best of luck to u man, make sure whoever bought it knows about this site also!

NorCal Lancer Sep 12, 2012 10:23 PM

best of luck, it sucks that our cars are not worth ****. If you're only going to get $4k from it, I would try in every possible way to keep it. It does sound like you ****ed up bad, but maybe sell your personal stuff? loans from friends?
