Not only does it not lock it also doesn't have a courtousy light. Now how shiesty is that!

and my EVO doesn't have cruise control! Big deal.

If you don't like this superbly balanced car because the glovebox doesn't lock and doesn't have a light, you my friend should consider a Sunfire... it handles like sh*t and has all the lights you want.


I wonder if half the owners of an RA noticed that the glovebox doesn't lock or doesn't have a light (I know I didn't). But I'm sure most of them noticed that it handles better, has more power, better brakes, better steering feel and more equipment than any car for the same price.


Now, let me explain this in a way you can understand it:

Mitsubishi = for car enthusiasts
Chevrolet = for people who don't know the difference
Glovebox amenities = who the hell cares if the car handles great

For the record, I bought the car before I noticed any of this. In fact, I realized as I was signing the papers that I wasn't even sure if it had A/C. I didn't care because I liked the car. I still don't care, and I don't dislike my car, and am not unhappy with the purchase because of it, I just found it strange that it doesn't lock and now that someone points out there's no light, that's strange to me too. A lock, switch and light would probably cost less than $10 in parts.

There's no need to be a bunch of ****ing *******s about it. Perhaps you should take a break from the internet. This is supposed to be a place to discuss our cars, but apparently it isn't.

I agree 100% with movingstereo, you guys need to stop jumping on people for no reason, no where did he say he didnt like the car, he just said it didnt have a lock, big deal. I wonder about some of the people in this forum who seem to try to put words in someone elses mouth just so they have a chance to flame them. Stop being so damn defensive about our car, it's nice but we still do have the right to complain about the little things without some a$$hole on a pedestal flaming you.

I understand that "learning" about your car after you get it can be a fun experience, and it is not normal to know every single feature in a car including the pile count in the carpet, otherwise car buying would be completley different and therfore boring.
