Apr tuned coolant bypass kit

I was on ebay looking for a replacement mirror n I came across a coolant bypass kit. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this like if its works er if its a good idea to throw it under the hood.

Is this for the TB?....if so...don't waste your money, search for the DIY.
