Hmm I did mine recently, tbh it was easier for me to bust the bulbs and take them out. straight up couldn't pull them out, by hand or with pliers/clamps. wrapped them in a microfiber, crush the bulbs, and pulled the lights out by the filament wires with pliers.

that method may require a quick vacuum lol

Yeah.. I spent about 15 minutes with the first one wiggling it around and attempting to coax it out (trying not to break it), after my fingers wouldn't do the trick I accidentally broke it after moving on to pliers and the micro fiber

That's when another light bulb turned on (idea!) and then just did that for the second one haha.

It looks pretty sick though, with the stereo and wideband and stock illumination, I have a red cockpit now

Im thinking the same thing. Now that my interior is almost entirely black its only right to fully sinister it out and fix my half broken HVAC lights to make them red.

Just trying to be clear. Are these the bulbs everyone is using?

I ordered 5 of those, just in case. I noticed that white light was coming through in a small spot on one of them, so I'm glad I had extra. You only need two but I tend to overkill. I wouldn't recommend these bulbs for the dash, just stick with the stock red ones.
^ It's definitely these guys (also as pictured in the above post)

Yea thats the picture from autolumination.com i scrolled through the entire page and thats the closest looking bulb that i could find. Almost everything else is LED. I just wanted to make sure thats what it was. Looks kinda like a mini parking light lol.
