borrow an impact...i would not suggest cutting and welding unless you have to...once you make a cut, you have to make sure everything is exactly the same size, and in precisely the same location, or you'll have further fitment issues...have you tried a hammer?

Since you have the headers on, how wide is the piping?

Question

i didnt measure the piping because i just seen this now sorry. it is the exact same as ur stock piping. i had to buys a 41/2 in grinder n ground it off in the gasket area. worked awesome, was a pain with the limited space... but i have a question i disconnected the battery for ten mins and the started it up and letit idle for ten mins its was extremely loud at first and three mins er so it quited down a little( i think the comoputer resetted itself) it sounds ok when im crusing around and not using the gas. but when i use the gas a little even a little it sounds like a lawn mower. theres this open hole under the head before it connects to the downpipe. what goes there? my stock manifold had nothing that went there. i believe the loudness of the lawnmower sound is coming from that open hole. thanks again guys for the help so far. ill take a picture in a min er too of what im taking about

iirc obx doesnt supply you with an 02 sensor plug. some reason it has an extra one which my guess is for a/f gauges but yeah you need to get that plugged somehow

O2 sensor thread is M18x1.5, you'll want a bolt length of 15-20mm (excluding the head), you should be able to buy them at your local exhaust shop, garage or parts store...this way you can remove it if you ever want to install a wideband sensor, rather than having it welded closed...also after you get it plugged, you'll want to reset the ECU again...

yeah, if you have one laying around, or if your local garage has one they'll give you for free or whatever.
