Did you just do a roll of the fenders or a VERY slight pull too? Flip had rubbing in the rear until he pulled the rear just a little. The fronts I hear rub at almost full lock. I remember Kelv saying he rubbed a little in the front when doing U-turns

I'm going 205/40 on my next rims. They shouldn't rub 99% of the time. Lol Most likely 17x8 but I'm eyeing these 3 piece stern wheels, just waiting to hear back from the guy if they will fit on his evo because he is not sure the size of the
centerbore.
centerbore.

I wouldn't do open ended lugs just because the studs may rust over and will then drip down the side of the wheels. Unless you're running extended studs probably better just doing closed ends
Im running 3mm spacers in the rear

I rolled the fenders in the rear. It rubs on bumps and dips in the road if I have people in the backseat. Sometimes I rub in the front on sudden dips as well. But keep in mind I'm running 8.25 wide wheels

i bought the same rim size do you think i can still go do road course with them?

Ok did y'all remove the bolt right there were the rear fender meets the bumper? That might be causing the rubbing. I removed the bolt, bent the tab up and cut the metal that is hooked up to the rear bumper, then drilled a small hole on the little lip inside the fender and bumper and zip tied them together. Check out the YouTube video of a white evo x getting its fenders rolled. It explains the bumper tab removal and y'all might have to do the same thing.

Hey on a 17x8 +48 the front will clear, but a 17x8 +48 on the rear will hit the strut housing. At the very least for a 17x8 you need atleast a 35 offset or lower to avoid hitting or rubbing against the strut housing. You can add a 5mm spacer to add even more comfort if you are worried its to close. Honestly 17x8 +35 on a 215/40 with a 3/5 mm spacer is perfect for our car. It requires the least amount of fender work and it is as flush as you can be before getting into major fender work.
P.s. with the xxr wheels, they are 17x 8.25 so with a +35 offset and a 3mm spacer you'll need to do a very very slight pull. If its 17x8 then you won't need too pull. I highly recommend doing a rear bumper tab removal.
Also I've been researching with a 17x8 +25 with no spacers and a 205/40, you can fit them with some camber. That's if you are going for that look though.
