grinding and squeaking front end
hey i have an 04 Mitsubishi lancer ralliart and my rotors are warn (scratched and needed to be turned a long time ago) there is a grinding and squeaking coming from my driver side front tire not to sure what it is. i went thru the car and found i have a broken transmission mount on the driver side which i thought could be the problem. not sure though and cant find the part anywhere for a automatic transmission. i know my rotors are shot but the car never made a noise to now and it sounds like a ratchet when i drive in any direction or turn. could it be the planetary gears? just replaced the wheel bearing not to long ago and the tire doesnt wobble like it would be out. could this just be the cv axel goin out? plz help

Thanks everyone and yes it drives smoothly. if it was a seized caliper would it apply the break the whole time? like slow me down? cuz it drives normal except for the noise. i just bought new rotors wondering if that could be it. and also my anti lock light comes on so idk if it would be abs sensors grinding on something if thats possible.

trans mount would just let the trans bounce around and make knocking/clunking noises..
bad axle would most likely make a clicking noise...
bad wheel bearing can make grinding noise or sometimes a vibration...
bad brakes can cause noises....squeaks, groans, grinding...
if the caliper is seized it's most likely it's seized w/ the piston out causing the piston to not retract and eating up your pads which will cause the rotor to overheat and eventually grind...also it can cause a pull since one side is braking and the other isn't...specially when braking it can cause a brake pull...usually wears both pads down pretty evenly...
seized slide pins can cause the same issues as a seized caliper but when you go to check it the caliper works fine....usually wears the inner pad more than the outer pad...
as for internal trans issues...it probably would shift poorly before u'd notice any noises
