Not sure if this is true!
I was at the dealer the other day looking at the Evo and spent some time talking with the salesman. He told me he was waiting for the RA and show me a booklet with some info and the SST transmission was listed under options. I asked him and he asked the manager and they both told me that the 5sp was standard and the SST was an option.
Well we are having our car show here this week and the official news is that the new Ralliart is going to have the following features.
**" this Lancer sedan spin-off fills the price gulf between the entry model and the pinnacle Evo and provides an entrant for the hotly contested $39,990 sports car slot. The Ralliart is powered by the turbo charged 2.0lt engine from the Evo X detuned from 209kw - 177kw. Great news for the buyers is the inclusion of the Mitsubishi six speed twin clutch transmission. Also included is a full time 4wd system. Aesthetic features include an aggressive nose, an aluminum bonnet with twin air ducts a rear air dam and Ralliart badges. The interior trim includes Revaro sports seats, a 650w Rockford Fosgate audio a sunroof and a 30GB hard drive system."
yes I know you are all thinking that that price tells us it is for the Evo but here in Australia the EvoX will cost around $70k, the new Ralliart will be available to buy around mid October. The Evo X is for resale in Japan already I have seen it on a few auction sites it is the real deal as it has Brembo's etc were as our Ralliart ones will not have Brembos but it should be a easy fit to upgrade.

Either I'm dumb, or something. $40k Aus for Ralliart, $70k Aus for Evo X.
$33k USD (or close enough) for the Evo.
40/70=?/33 where ?=Ralliart price
I come up with a bit less than $19k USD for the Ralliart. Ha. That'd be sweet. (Not a chance in hell...)
