Currently the MITSU website is advertising 0% APR for 48 months, and it even mentions $2,000 rebate thru Jan 5th, although I'm not sure if the rebate applies to Lancers or other models... Either way, did you get any of those good deals?
I was around a thousand under invoice.

I think with the new forum upgrade it's against the rules to have a signature like that anyways.

Now what I'm finding is it is hard to keep this bugger clean. I took it through a spotless car wash today. My friend had made a smiley face across the rear bumper and that's still there after the wash. Am I better just running it through a bigger car wash or would I risk scratching the paint?

Thank your friend for possibly scratching your car permanently. I had someone write on my rear spoiler once thinking it was funny. What they don't realize is that any dirt on the paint scratches the surface or deeper and can leave a permanent mark. Mine was there until I sold the car. Stupid friends.

Ask him if you can do it to his car. To me it's just disrespectful, but there is a lot of that in the world today. People don't think things through.

Anyway, I like the front shot of the Ralliart, it's now my laptops background. Much thanks.

He doesn't give a **** about his car. I'd hope most people would understand why I'd be overprotective of a car that's been on the road for less then a week! I g ot some good pictures of the taillights, too, but I'm a protectionist. The rear just isn't clean at all from the car wash... blah! I'm glad to hear you used it for your wallpaper though!

That sucks!! I've had people do this to my white car before too. But it's easily fixable, at least it was for me.

Step 1: Wash the area very well
Step 2: Dry the car very well
Step 3: Clay bar the surface where the writing or blemish is
Step 4: Polish area with polish
Step 5: Wax the area with carnuba wax

That should take care of the marks. I have found that with a white car the dirt doesn't scratch the surface really, it seems to just grind the dirt into the paint. The clay bar will lift it all out of the paint.

I'm uneducated about this clay bar? Buy one at the hardware store or car shop?

Any auto store for the clay bar. Clay bar is more for surface contaminants that build up. Meguiars Scratch X will get out any fine scratches.
