RalliArt Recognition

Alright peeps,

When you see that nice ride on the street, something mad clean or just straight JDM or even a nice expensive car. Do you usually give them recognition? IE: thumbs up, deuces, nod etc.
Also when you know there’s another car pulled next to you, you know that that WRX,Srt-4 or maybe an Evo, do they give you recognition for a nice car? Do you think the RalliArt even has much street cred? Or are we just considered that guy /gal who couldn’t afford the Evo(for whatever reason)….lol

Just curious.

I always give recognitions to Ralliarts. I used to own one, and it was my first fun car I had. I just wish the current ralliart was a bit cheaper so I could justify buying it for a DD.

As far as other cars, there aren't many I'll give props to. GT-R, Evos, some right side drivers, other than that they can **** off

I haven't seen any RAs in the detroit area, but there is one RR Evo X and a handful of 8/9's. I usually towards them. Same goes for the guy in the Aston Martin DB9 that likes to drive on I-696.

Any other nice cars I'll nod and wave to; if its nice out and we've got our windows down I'll give props out loud to them.

I've had a couple people give me props on my RA - but I think they just had it confused with the X. Seems to happen a lot around here, I've gotten my RA mixed up with the X a couple times already.

Driving in Quebec last month, passing a guy in some beat up old Ford, I noticed he was staring at my Ralliart. And not just staring, he was driving with his head turned full towards the side, and his jaw was dropped all the way down. Really disturbing, but at least some French guys fresh out of the asylum turn their heads for the Ralliart

I now acknowledge all orange cars, provided they're in good shape -- someone's got to fight the depressing gray scourge, so why not a bit of rotor glow?

I do the little 'beep beep' on the horn, only then to realize it's an old lady

I always give recognition to any type of lancer I saw on the road. For some reason SoCal LA area dont have any Ralliart running on the road . I haven't seen any yet, I always seen Evo's and GTS ones.....

Have yet to see an other one so no waves, but with the bit of warmer weather lots of the ricers are bringing cars back out, I got a nod from a guy in a lancer OZ with a MASSIVE (I mean huge ginormus) wing...

OT anybody thought about ditching the wing for a trunk lip spoiler?

^I might end up doing that later on, but you'd have to fill those holes.

Sounds more like you doubt your RA balzzz. Be a man. You bought the RA cause it pimp without being boy racer. Plus, if your smart you can get more than EVO power at the wheels. Spend 10k less and be almost a second faster.... almost haha.

i'm the only one in my area with a RA (at least I think so beacuse I havent seen any RA around here and theres only one lancer GTS) but i usually just get kids from my school staring at the car. I dont drive it to school yet so I guess they are just like where the eff did that come from.

I've got the thumbs up a couple of times here in northern california for my ralliart. So, people definitely do respect it
