Just a thought - After you start the car up, and take your FAST fob out with you, can't you just hit the lock button on the door/fob and have it secured? Or does it not allow you to lock it at all - even if the fob is outside of the car

I wonder if US Ralliart owners can get some OEM CA sideviews (and heated recaros) and just do a direct swap...hmmm...

you probably could, if you're nearby contact a mitsu dealer and drive in and pick em up.

I live here in the states and mine doesn't do that at all. I just have a GTS with the FAST key not a Ralliart. If I start the car first then get out and get the key out of range the car can still be shifted into drive and driven away
I wonder why yours is different from mine.....

I know when my key is out of the car when its running, the info screen says steering wheel lock and it beeps but I'm gonna test it today and let u guys know if I can drive without the key on me. Maybe there's a setting for this or maybe it allows you to drive in case you lose the fob (what's a fob lol) and you have to use the key so it doesn screw you over?

I have a question guys.
I bought a remote from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3AIT&viewitem=)
this key fob has lock and unlock with a trunk release button as well.
now, i was able to make the remote operate with lock and unlock but the trunk release button is not working.
there is no way to make that work?
it seems that the evo's dont come equiped with a keyless trunk release option?
thanks guys
Sergio

i was just wondering... what happens if your battery dies in your car or in your remotes? can you still get in? because you can't manually unlock the doors with the regular key theres no slots for the key you have to use the remote...

How can't you get in? You shaved your doors or something? I have no problem opening my doors with my key.
