Tint Ticket!

Just wanted to express my frustration about receiving a tint ticket this afternoon. I just got the windows tinted three days ago. A lot of cars I see have them tinted so I figured the cops were not to picky. I got pulled over for speeding (first time in like 8 years) and he gave me a tint ticket too! PISSSSS!!!!!!! Now I have to remove the tint and take it to the cop shop to prove it!!! Don't they have anything better to do than meet quotas for tickets!!!!!

If my day didnt suck already, I took the tint off and went to the station to show him. I was greeted by two more tickets. One for loud exhaust and another speeding ticket aparently when I was leaving. WHICH IS BULLSH*T!!! So now i have 5 points and about $450 worth of tickets. Can you believe that!?!

I don't normally speed. Just a bad day. I had a perfectly clean driving record until today.

I gave no verbal attitude. I got the tickets later when I went to the station to prove I took the tint off.

take them off, you are lucky you only got a warning, next time you will get a ticket, it's not worth it, you can use the money toward gas, or parts for your ride why give $ to government?

I am obviously guilty of the first two offenses. Speeding and tint. But can I be given a ticket after the fact when he didn't personally pull me over or have a picture like photo radar?

Sucks dude, I have tint, it was done at the dealership. In Texas, you can have tint, but it must be a certain level or lower...or...."higher" depending on how you read the level.

Anyway, they "certify" the tint here and as long as it has the little certification decal, you are good to go.

Damn i had 15% on my RSX and never had any problems whatsoever. Even if i did get pulled over and ticketed, them *****es would stay on. That really blows though that they made you prove it, i've never heard of that.

As for the exhaust ticket, i've always read that you can argue that because unless the cop has a decibel meter there is no way for him to truly know what it is. The ticket is purely subjective to who wrote it. I've heard that's how a lot of bikers avoid tickets. but idk for sure.
