Battery Relocation

Anyone put the battery in the trunk like the Evo?

it should not be to difficult, just need some kind of Housing to cover and Hold the battery in Place, plus will make more room in engine bay for a SRI

Don't you need to have an emergency battery cut-off somewhere on the outside of your car if you relocate the battery?

Just buy some 2 gauge wire and run it to the trunk, buy a box from autozone and strap it down. I used one of the brackets for the rear seat as a ground.

I was thinking of putting the light weight battery from AMS into the spare tire well. That way I loose even more weight from the tire removal and the battery being smaller while still being able to use my trunk.
